IISC BangaloreProf. Shalabh Bhatnagar is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Automation and an Associate Faculty at the Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber-Physical Systems, IISc. His research focuses on Stochastic Approximation Algorithms, Reinforcement Learning, Autonomous Systems, Smart Grids, and Vehicular Traffic Control. He heads the Stochastic Systems Laboratory at IISc and has authored numerous research papers and the book Stochastic Recursive Algorithms for Optimization. He has led projects for DRDO, Xerox, DST-GoI, and Texas Instruments and has received accolades like the Prof. Satish Dhawan Young Engineer Award (2013) and the Rajib Goyal Young Scientist Prize.
