Delhi Technological UniversityProf. S. Indu holds B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kerala and a PhD in Visual Sensor Networks from the University of Delhi. She joined Delhi College of Engineering (now DTU) in 1999 and currently serves as Dean (Digital Education) and Professor in the ECE Department. She has held several key leadership roles, including Vice Chancellor (Sept–Nov 2023), Dean of Student Welfare for six years, and Head of ECE for three years. A prolific researcher in Computer Vision, Sensor Networks, and Image Processing, she has supervised 18 PhDs, guided 45 M.Tech theses, published 200+ papers, authored books, and completed major sponsored projects. With three patents and multiple prestigious awards—including DTU’s Commendable Research Award for six consecutive years—she is regarded as an influential academic leader.
