Professor Kit Tai Hau is the Choh-Ming Li Professor of Educational Psychology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a former President of the Educational Psychology Division of the International Association of Applied Psychology. His research primarily focuses on motivation, self-concept, and applied statistics, contributing significantly to the understanding of these areas within educational contexts. Since 1995, Professor Hau has been actively involved in promoting empirical research in social sciences and education by conducting nearly 100 advanced applied statistics workshops across mainland China. His efforts have played a crucial role in enhancing the statistical skills of researchers and educators, thereby advancing the field of educational psychology. Through his extensive work, Professor Hau continues to influence both academic research and practical applications in education.
