Professor Justin Che-Yuen Wu is a prominent figure in the Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he has significantly contributed to both medical education and clinical practice. He earned his medical degree with Distinction in Medicine from CUHK in 1993 and joined the faculty as an associate professor in 2006, advancing to a full professorship in 2009. His leadership roles include serving as Associate Dean (Clinical) and later as Associate Dean (Development), where he has been instrumental in shaping the curriculum and fostering innovation within the medical program. Professor Wu is the founding director of Asia’s first Global Physician-Leadership Stream (GPS), which focuses on developing leadership skills among medical undergraduates, and he also established the Hong Kong Institute of Integrative Medicine to promote collaboration between Western and Chinese medicine.
