IIM IndoreDr G. Venkat Raman is a Professor at IIM Indore in the Humanities and Social Sciences area. He holds a Ph.D. from the School of Government, Peking University, Beijing. His research focuses on geopolitics, global governance, US–China power rivalry, technology competition, and climate change. He recently completed a Fulbright fellowship at the Schar School of Policy and Government, George Mason University, and was awarded an ICSSR fellowship on multilateralism in the Global South. A Sinologist fluent in Mandarin, he teaches courses on power rivalries, global governance, the China challenge, political risk management, ethics, and corporate social responsibility. He has also served as a visiting fellow at the BRICS Centre, Fudan University, and as visiting faculty at ICN Nancy, France.
