IIM KozhikodeDr. Chitwan Lalji is an Assistant Professor in the Economics area at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, where she also serves as the Chairperson of the Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP). She holds a PhD in Economics from the Department of Economic Sciences at IIT Kanpur. Her research interests include health economics, development economics, labour economics, and applied microeconomics. Currently, Dr. Lalji is actively involved in several RCTs across India, focusing on women’s safety, well-being, and maternal and child health. Her work has been published in leading academic journals, including Health Economics, the Journal of Economic Behaviour & Organisation, and the Journal of Development Studies.
