IIT DelhiProf. Ankita Shukla is an Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence in the Computer Science & Engineering Department at the University of Nevada, Reno. She previously served as a postdoctoral researcher at Arizona State University in the Geometric Media Lab under Prof. Pavan Turaga. She earned her PhD and Master’s from IIIT Delhi, receiving the Best Thesis Award for her Master’s research. Her work focuses on deep learning, multimodal vision, topological data analysis, and geometry-driven learning, with applications in AI for Science and AI for Social Good, including wildlife conservation and human health.
