Priyanka Sharma has established herself as an accomplished economist at Illinois Institute of Technology's Stuart School of Business, where she serves as Associate Professor of Economics. After earning her B.A. in Economics with honors from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi, and M.A. from Delhi School of Economics, she completed her Ph.D. in Economics from Texas A&M University. Her academic excellence was recognized with the S. Charles Maurice Graduate Fellowship in Economics (2011-12) and the Private Enterprise Research Center Bradley Fellowship. Her research portfolio spans multiple areas including finance, innovation, entrepreneurship, industrial organization, and applied game theory. She has contributed to economics education through teaching courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and law and economics. As a member of prestigious organizations including the American Economic Association, Econometric Society, Southern Economic Association, and Southwestern Social Science Association, she continues to shape economic research and education at Stuart School of Business, which is among the 6% of business schools globally accredited by AACSB.
