Predrag Klasnja is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information at the University of Michigan and a Scientific Investigator at the Group Health Research Institute. His work bridges the fields of information science and health informatics, exploring how technology can be leveraged to improve health outcomes and enhance healthcare delivery.Predrag earned his Ph.D. in Information Science from the Information School at the University of Washington, where he was mentored by Wanda Pratt. His doctoral research laid the groundwork for his focus on designing and evaluating information systems to support health behavior change and chronic disease management.After completing his Ph.D., Predrag continued at the University of Washington as a National Library of Medicine Postdoctoral Fellow in the Division of Biomedical and Health Informatics. During this fellowship, he deepened his expertise in integrating health informatics with user-centered design principles.
