Prasanna Tambe

Dr. Prasanna (Sonny) Tambe is an Associate Professor of Operations, Information and Decisions at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on the intersection of data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and human resources, particularly how these technologies impact labor markets and workforce dynamics. Dr. Tambe's work has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Best Published Paper in Information Systems Research, and he serves on the editorial board for Management Science.Dr. Tambe holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and earned his Ph.D. in Managerial Science and Applied Economics from Wharton. His courses, such as "AI Applications in People Management" and "AI Strategy and Governance," equip students with essential skills to navigate the complexities of modern business environments influenced by technology.
