Dartmouth CollegeDr. Peter Chin is a Professor of Engineering at Dartmouth College and the director of the LISP—Learning, Intelligence + Signal Processing—Lab. His research focuses on fundamental questions at the intersection of signal processing, machine learning, game theory, differential geometry, and computational neuroscience. Dr. Chin is currently an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems and has held various leadership roles in conferences related to cyber sensing and social network analysis. He earned his BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics from Duke University and a PhD in Mathematics from MIT. His research interests include machine learning, artificial intelligence, compressive sampling theory, and mathematical finance. Dr. Chin has contributed to numerous publications and research projects, including deep reinforcement learning applications and integrated compressive sensing for biological imaging.
