His research spans cryptography, computer forensics, and security applications in healthcare and IoT devices. His groundbreaking work includes developing encryption methods using ECG signals for medical devices, creating lightweight authentication protocols for RFID systems, and advancing cybersecurity information sharing. As a leading researcher in e-health security, he has made significant contributions to securing implantable medical devices and body sensor networks. His extensive publication record includes over 60 journal articles and numerous conference papers, with influential works on privacy-preserving systems, hardware security, and cryptographic protocols. He currently teaches multiple cybersecurity courses while leading research initiatives in three main areas: security & e-health, security & hardware, and security & smart devices. His work has influenced both academic research and practical applications in lightweight cryptography and medical device security.
