Dr. Paul Nagy is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Johns Hopkins University, where he also holds joint appointments in the Departments of Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, and Health Policy Management. With a BS from Carnegie Mellon University and a PhD from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Nagy specializes in health informatics and the development of biomarkers from medical imaging to support reproducible evidence in observational research. He leads the Observational Health and Data Science Informatics (OHDSI) efforts at Johns Hopkins as part of the Precision Medicine initiative and has published over 150 research papers.In addition to his research, Dr. Nagy serves as the Deputy Director of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Technology Innovation Center, where he collaborates with clinical inventors to create innovative IT solutions that enhance patient care. He is also the Director of Education for the Biomedical Informatics and Data Science graduate training programs, teaching courses on healthcare data security, privacy, and compliance. His contributions to the field have earned him recognition as a Fellow of the Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine (FSIIM).
