Dr. Paul Gobée is an MD and Assistant Professor of Anatomy at Universiteit Leiden, specializing in the development of e-learning resources for anatomy since 2000. He has been teaching gross anatomy of the abdomen since 2010 and collaborates with colleague Daniël Jansma to create e-learning materials for the Department of Anatomy & Embryology at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). Dr. Gobée founded the CASK (Clinical Anatomical Skills) interactive tutorials, the reference site AnatomicalTerms.Info, and the CASK microscopy viewer, all available at CASKanatomy.info. He developed a comprehensive e-learning course focused on the anatomy related to the procurement of abdominal organs for transplantation, which is utilized internationally and is part of the mandatory training for abdominal donor surgeons in the Netherlands. Additionally, he is an active member of the Clinical Anatomical Terminology committee of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists. Dr. Gobée teaches the course Anatomy of the Abdomen and Pelvis; a journey from basis to clinic, bridging foundational anatomical knowledge with clinical applications.
