Pau Tallada holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) and a Master's in High-Performance Computing from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He began his career in a software consultancy before joining the Port d'Informació Científica (PIC) as a software engineer in the cosmology and astrophysics projects department. Tallada has participated in several international projects, including the Physics of the Accelerating Universe Survey (PAUS), Marenostrum Institut de Ciències de l'Espai simulations (MICE), Dark Energy Survey (DES), and the European Space Agency's Euclid project. His expertise includes data management, pipeline development, and big data technologies. He serves as an associate research lecturer at UAB and is involved in teaching statistics and data analysis.
