Pascale Argod has established herself as a leading researcher in Information and Communication Sciences at the University of Bordeaux and MICA (Mediation, Information, Communication, Arts) research laboratory at the University of Bordeaux-Montaigne. After earning her doctorate in Information and Communication Sciences, she has focused her research on travel journals as intermedial, transmedial, and intercultural artifacts, defining them as a unique genre spanning media, art, and literature. As a PRCE (Professeur Certifié) at the INSPE d'Aquitaine (Institute for Teacher Training), she combines teaching with research activities. Since 2012, she has maintained an active research blog "Carnet de voyage-reportage" on Hypothèses, documenting her contributions to conferences, seminars, and teacher training workshops. Her work bridges traditional academic research with digital humanities, exploring how travel journals function as both artistic expression and cultural documentation. Through her teaching and research, she continues to develop innovative approaches to understanding media and cultural communication in the context of travel literature
