Delft University of TechnologyOlga Ioannou serves as an Assistant Professor at TU Delft's Chair of Building Product Innovation and co-leads the Circular Built Environment Hub at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment. After completing her architectural studies at Sapienza University of Rome and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, she earned her PhD from the National Technical University of Athens in 2019, focusing on architectural education in digital environments. Her current research emphasizes circular products and processes, particularly the design of bio-based circular building products and the creation of bio-based value networks. She has developed several educational initiatives integrating circularity into architecture curricula, including "Circularity for Educators" and the "Circular Design Atlas." Her expertise spans architectural education, circular economy, biogenic materials, and sustainable building practices. Through her work, she explores how circularity challenges established processes in the built environment, stakeholder relations, and societal values toward a circular society.
