Nurain Tisaker

Nurain Tisaker serves as Program Manager at the International Technology Transfer Centre (ITTC) - South Africa, housed within the University of Cape Town's Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health. In her current role at ITTC, she oversees training-related activities, curriculum development, and monitoring and evaluation protocols while maintaining a small private practice focused on general mental health concerns and substance use disorders. Her patient-centered approach and expertise in curriculum development have been instrumental in empowering non-specialist providers through programs like the Basic Mental Health and Practitioner Self-Care Training.
