Ning Rosenthal

Ning Rosenthal serves as Senior Research Scientist for the Genetic Disease Screening Program at the California Department of Public Health, where she contributes to the world's largest genetic screening program serving nearly 1 million Californians annually. With an MD, PhD and over 15 years of experience in clinical research and health outcomes evaluation, she brings extensive expertise to California's comprehensive genetic screening initiatives. Her work supports critical programs including newborn screening for over 75 disorders and prenatal screening that serves more than 350,000 pregnant women each year. As a Principal Research Scientist with over 1,100 academic citations, she specializes in program evaluation, clinical research, and health outcomes assessment.
