University System of MarylandNicole Hall is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at Salisbury University, where her career journey began with earning her B.S. in Nursing in 2003. Her professional path includes significant experience in maternity care, followed by teaching in a diploma-based nursing program for four years. Her academic credentials include a master's in education from Wilmington University and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Management from Drexel University, completed in 2017. Her research focuses on supporting nurses to speak up about patient care concerns, the use of simulation in undergraduate nursing curricula, and the employment of adjunct instructors in clinical settings. Her commitment to patient safety is evident through her work, including a poster presentation titled "Supporting Nurses to Speak Up for Patient Safety Using an Employee Engagement Survey" at the International Research Congress in Dublin. Currently teaching in both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs at Salisbury University, she balances her academic career with family life in Milford, DE, where she lives with her husband Jason and children, Hailey and Caleb.
