Inter-American Development BankNatalie Draisin serves as the Director of the North American Office and United Nations Representative at the FIA Foundation, where she leads initiatives advancing evidence-based solutions for safe, sustainable, and equitable mobility. Her career spans significant roles in global public health and transportation safety, including positions at the World Health Organization and the National Transportation Safety Board. Her academic credentials include an MPH/MBA from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BA in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, where she was honored as a Sommer Scholar. At the FIA Foundation, she manages North American grants promoting safe and sustainable mobility, while her UN advocacy work has successfully integrated road safety into the Sustainable Development Goals and secured commitments for safe school journeys in the UN Habitat III New Urban Agenda. Her expertise is recognized through various appointments, including co-chair of the Transportation Research Board's safety culture subcommittee and Board Member of the National Association of Women Highway Safety Leaders. In 2021, she was named among the "Remarkable Women in Transport" by the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative. Her diverse experience includes working with Community Health Workers in Kenya, serving as a Leadership Fellow with the Pew Charitable Trusts, and cycling across the United States for cancer research fundraising. Currently, she also serves as an advisor to the Health & Safety Hub at both the International Transport Forum and World Health Organization.
