Natalia Medvedeva, MD

Dr. Natalia Medvedeva serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she combines clinical expertise with a dedication to medical education. After earning her MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine, she completed her residency at Yale New Haven Department of Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Infectious Diseases at Stanford University. Her clinical practice focuses on infectious disease treatment with particular emphasis on antimicrobial stewardship. She maintains board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. At Stanford, she contributes to medical education through teaching courses including Microbiology and Infectious Diseases I and II. Her research work includes significant contributions to COVID-19 research, particularly in validating classification systems for disease surveillance and studying antibiotic prescribing patterns in urgent care settings. Through her roles in clinical care, research, and education, Dr. Medvedeva continues to advance the field of infectious diseases while training the next generation of medical professionals.
