Nancy Wang

Dr. Joana Colussi is an instructor and postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. With a decade of experience as an agricultural journalist in Brazil, she brings a unique perspective to her academic role. Dr. Colussi holds a master's degree in Agribusiness and a Ph.D. in Management from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, equipping her with a strong foundation in both practical and theoretical aspects of agriculture and economics. As a member of the farmdoc team, which is part of the University of Illinois Extension, she contributes to research and outreach efforts aimed at enhancing agricultural practices and policies. Her work focuses on fostering learning and innovation within the field, making her a valuable asset to both students and the agricultural community.
