Nadir Akhtar

Nadir Akhtar currently serves as Lead Blockchain Security Engineer at Coinbase while maintaining his role as an instructor for Berkeley's Blockchain Fundamentals program. His journey in blockchain education began during his undergraduate Computer Science studies at UC Berkeley, where he served multiple leadership roles including President of Blockchain at Berkeley and Head of Education. As an educator, he has played a pivotal role in developing and teaching the world's first accredited undergraduate blockchain course, reaching over 100 students per semester. His teaching portfolio extends internationally, having conducted blockchain workshops for institutions like Qualcomm, BerkeleyLaw, and organizations in Taiwan and Mexico.
