Hamad Bin Khalifa UniversityRawan Tahboub is a PhD Candidate at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, focusing on virtual exchange as a transformative tool for reconciliation in fragile societies. Her doctoral research explores how virtual exchange can develop mechanisms for digital transformation in conflict resolution, particularly examining connections between Palestinians in the diaspora with those in the West Bank, Gaza, and Arab 48. Her academic work combines digital humanities, reconciliation studies, and education, investigating the potential of technology in fostering dialogue and understanding. With nearly eight years of teaching experience at Hebron University's Law and Political Science Faculty, she brings substantial practical knowledge to her research. Since 2013, she has been deeply involved in virtual exchange programs, progressing from participant to facilitator, coach, mentor, and partnerships officer in Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges. Her upcoming work "Virtual Exchange as a Mechanism for Digital Education" contributes to the emerging field of postdigital education. Her research methodology employs a community-based mixed-method approach, focusing on social cohesion, digital humanities, and reconciliation through virtual education platforms.
