Mohammad Ansarin

Mohammad Ansarin brings diverse expertise in energy economics and sustainable systems to his role as a post-doctoral researcher at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. His multidisciplinary background includes a PhD in Management from Rotterdam School of Management, an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Koc University, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, enabling him to approach energy systems from multiple perspectives. His research portfolio encompasses retail pricing, wholesale power markets, renewable energy finance, and urban heating systems, with his doctoral work focusing on the economic implications of electricity pricing in the renewable energy era. At TU Delft, he leads significant educational initiatives, including courses on Business Implications of Intelligent and Integrated Energy Systems and the Professional Certificate program in Intelligent and Integrated Energy Systems. His work combines rigorous economic analysis with practical applications, particularly in urban heating systems and renewable energy integration.
