Delft University of TechnologyMohamed Baioumy has evolved from his role as a teaching assistant at TU Delft to becoming a distinguished researcher in robotics and artificial intelligence. His academic journey includes a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from TU Delft (graduated Cum Laude with honors), where he completed the robotics special honors program while serving as a teaching assistant for fundamental engineering courses. He later pursued his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence & Robotics at the Oxford Robotics Institute, focusing on decision-making in robotics as probabilistic inference. His experience spans teaching roles at TU Delft's Robotics Institute, where he instructed courses on ROS (Robot Operating System) and supervised student projects, while conducting research on energy-efficient robotic grippers and autonomous vehicle safety systems. He has contributed to multiple publications at prestigious conferences including ICRA, IROS, and NeurIPS, and currently serves as Co-Founder of EXO Labs, applying his expertise to advance robotics technology.
