Milton Sousa is an Associate Professor at Nova School of Business and Economics, where he has held the roles of Associate Dean for Institutional Relations and International Development, as well as Academic Director of the CEMS MIM program. Prior to this, he served as Director of the MBA Programs at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands. Sousa has chaired three editions of the Estoril Conferences, a prominent international forum on globalization that brings together renowned leaders from business, academia, and the public sector. In this capacity, he has collaborated with organizations such as the United Nations, World Bank, European Commission, NATO, and several prestigious universities. In the business world, Milton founded Leaders2Be, an organization dedicated to leadership development programs, which he led for five years. He has also worked in various innovation, research, and management roles, including at Royal Philips Electronics and as a strategy and management consultant at Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação and the Hay Group. A frequent speaker and guest lecturer, he addresses topics such as leadership and organizational behavior at universities and business schools, including in numerous executive programs with global corporations. His research interests encompass servant leadership, meaning, innovation, shared value, and hybridity.
