Mihai TARCE

Dr. Mihai TARCE is a multifaceted expert in periodontology and implant dentistry, currently serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong. His unique background combines dentistry and software engineering, positioning him at the forefront of AI applications in dental medicine. Dr. TARCE completed his postgraduate studies and PhD at KU Leuven in Belgium, where he now holds a visiting professorship in Periodontology & Oral Microbiology. His academic journey includes an ITI scholarship at Queen Mary University of London, where he maintains an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow position. With clinical experience from prestigious institutions like University Hospitals Leuven and San Paolo university hospital in Milan, Dr. TARCE brings a wealth of practical knowledge to his research. His expertise spans AI-assisted treatment planning, digital workflows in implant dentistry, bone augmentation, and peri-implant disease management.
