Miguel Recio

Miguel Recio is a Doctor of Law from Universidad CEU San Pablo in Madrid, with a master's degree in Data Protection, Transparency, and Access to Information from the same university and another in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University Law School. With nearly 20 years of experience in data protection and privacy compliance across both public and private sectors, he has worked with companies in technology, finance, and more. He teaches at the Universidad CEU San Pablo and CIDE in Mexico and has been a Legal Counsel for Latin America at Business Software Alliance. A recognized expert in digital law, he has won awards like the II edition of the Google Chair in Privacy and Innovation. He is also an author and co-author of multiple publications in Spain and Latin America.
