Distinguished Leadership in Multi-Agent Systems and Computer Science Education
Dr. Miguel Rebollo serves as Professor in the Department of Computer Systems and Computation at Universitat Politècnica de València, where he earned his PhD in Artificial Intelligence in 2004, followed by a doctorate in Complex Systems. His expertise spans multiple areas including service-oriented multi-agent systems, semantic web technologies, and innovative approaches to engineering education. His research contributions include pioneering work in port container terminal automation through multi-agent systems and the development of real-time multi-agent system architectures. As an educator, he teaches Introduction to Information Technology and Information agents for the semantic web, while actively promoting the integration of social networks and electronic portfolios in engineering education. His current research focuses on service-oriented multi-agent systems, particularly in urban environments and crowd-based applications, demonstrating his commitment to advancing both theoretical frameworks and practical applications in computer science education and artificial intelligence.
