Michael Shimer is an accomplished instructional designer and educator who combines military leadership experience with expertise in learning technology. His career spans roles in Army training management, K-12 education as a Florida-certified teacher, and instructional design for both government and commercial sectors. His academic achievements include completing an edX MicroMasters in Instructional Design and Technology in 2018 and earning his Master of Science in Learning Design and Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus with a perfect 4.0 GPA in 2019.
