Merce Rullan

Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, she holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and is currently a professor in the Microelectronics and Electronic Systems Department of the UAB Engineering School. She previously worked as a researcher at the National Microelectronics Centre, CSIC, where she completed her doctoral thesis on the design and testing of integrated circuits and microsystems. From 1996 to 2012, she served as the Coordinator of the Computer Engineering degree, and since 2012, she has been the Vice-Director of Quality Promotion and Relations with Institutions at the UAB School of Engineering. In recent years, her research interests have focused on teaching, with particular emphasis on skill assessment and cross-cutting issues in engineering education.
