The University of EdinburghMennatAllah Labib is a PhD student at the Institute for Energy Systems, University of Edinburgh, focusing on carbon capture and storage (CCS). She holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in Renewable Energy from the British University in Egypt. As a member of the Carbon Capture and Storage Group, her research emphasizes post-combustion and direct air carbon capture, with a particular interest in carbon utilization. Prior to her PhD, Mennat taught undergraduate Chemical Engineering full-time for five years at the British University in Egypt and also instructed courses in Mechanical and Petroleum and Gas Technology Engineering departments.
