Mengyi (Gloria) Wang

Mengyi (Gloria) Wang serves as an instructor for Berkeley's Blockchain Fundamentals program while completing her interdisciplinary studies at UC Berkeley with a focus on Computer Science and Economics. Her journey in blockchain education began as a discussion leader for the Blockchain Fundamentals course, where she helped develop and teach the highly competitive DeCal course that attracted over 300 students competing for 100 spaces. As one of the key instructors in Berkeley's Professional Certificate in Blockchain program on edX, she has helped make complex blockchain concepts accessible to students worldwide. Her expertise spans blockchain use case theory, distributed systems, and Bitcoin mechanics, which she developed through active participation in the Blockchain at Berkeley community and as a scholarship recipient for the Programming Blockchain seminar taught by Jimmy Song.
