Dr. Melinda K. Munos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she focuses on large-scale effectiveness evaluations of health programs in low- and middle-income countries. With a PhD and Master of Health Science (MHS) in International Health from Johns Hopkins, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, Dr. Munos has developed a strong foundation in health program evaluation and measurement. Her research aims to improve maternal, newborn, and child health and nutrition by enhancing the methodologies used to assess health interventions.In addition to her research endeavors, Dr. Munos teaches courses such as "Analysis and Interpretation of Large-Scale Programs" and "Household Surveys for Program Evaluation in LMICs" on Coursera. Her work has been recognized for its impact on public health policy and practice, particularly in the context of improving healthcare delivery systems in resource-limited settings.
