Dr. Meine Pieter van Dijk is a distinguished economist and Professor of Urban Management in Emerging Economies at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He also holds the position of Professor of Water Services Management at the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft. With a PhD in Economics from the Free University Amsterdam, Dr. van Dijk has extensive experience working in developing countries since 1973, serving as a consultant for various organizations, including NGOs, the Asian Development Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the World Bank.
