Dr. Megan Acho, MD, MS, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Michigan. She earned her medical degree from New York University and completed her residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Following this, Dr. Acho completed fellowships in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, along with obtaining a Master’s Degree in Medical Education. Her research interests focus on medical education, particularly in mechanical ventilation and teaching complex concepts to novice learners, as well as the intersection of pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine.Dr. Acho is involved in the course "From Sleep Disorders to Sleep Health," which aims to educate individuals about sleep health and disorders. This course addresses various sleep issues, their impact on health, and strategies for improving sleep quality. Through her work, Dr. Acho is dedicated to enhancing understanding of sleep medicine and its critical role in overall health, while also fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals through innovative educational approaches.
