Máximo Morales Céspedes

Máximo Morales Céspedes serves as Associate Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid's Department of Signal Theory and Communications, where he specializes in wireless communications and interference management. After completing his PhD in 2015, which earned outstanding thesis recognition, he conducted postdoctoral research at Université Catholique de Louvain's ICTEAM. His research portfolio includes coordination of multiple national projects and industry contracts, focusing on interference alignment, visible light communications, and MIMO techniques. As editor of IEEE Communication Letters and technical committee member for major IEEE conferences, he contributes significantly to the field's advancement. His work has produced over 14 Q1 journal publications, 30 conference papers, and a patent, garnering more than 228 citations.
