Max Prumbohm

Max Prumbohm, born in 1986, serves as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Clausthal, where he also completed his mechanical engineering degree. His research focuses on two primary areas: developing automated machinery for disassembling electronic products and creating tools to evaluate product recyclability. As an educator, he teaches pressure vessel construction to process engineering bachelor students. His expertise extends to circular economy principles, particularly in engineering design and product lifecycle management. He actively contributes to academic discourse through his involvement in educational initiatives, including participation as an instructor in courses on Engineering Design for Circular Economy. His work bridges the gap between theoretical research and practical applications in sustainable product design, focusing on improving the efficiency of electronic waste processing and developing systematic approaches to assess and enhance product recyclability.
