Maude Schneider has been an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Geneva since 2019. She leads the Clinical Psychology Unit for Disability Situations and works part-time as a psychotherapist and psychologist at the Pôle Autisme Foundation. Dr. Schneider earned her PhD in psychology in 2014 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at KU Leuven (Belgium) from 2015 to 2016, focusing on experience sampling methodology and mobile health techniques. In 2017, she received an Ambizione grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation to research social disabilities in adolescents and young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders. Her expertise includes working with conditions such as the 22q11.2 microdeletion syndrome and autism spectrum disorders. Her research primarily investigates social deficits in adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and their transition to adulthood. Dr. Schneider teaches courses like "A Life with ADHD" and various courses related to autism spectrum disorders.
