Matthew Griffin

Matthew Griffin is the Director of Community for Ultimaker North America, where he plays a crucial role in promoting 3D printing technology and fostering community engagement. With a background as an industrial designer, he is currently finishing a book on design for 3D printing, reflecting his commitment to advancing knowledge in this rapidly evolving field. Matthew has also taught Digital Fabrication at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and has been a regular contributor to MAKE Magazine, particularly noted for his work in the annual Make: Ultimate Guide to 3DP series.Prior to his current position, Matthew served as the community manager at MakerBot Industries and as Director of Community & Support at Adafruit, where he developed extensive experience in building and nurturing maker communities. His teaching and consulting cover a wide range of topics related to 3D printing and electronics, emphasizing practical applications and innovation.
