Guest Professor at Osaka University
Dr. Masayuki Miyasaka, M.D., Ph.D., serves as a Guest Professor at the Immunology Frontier Research Center at Osaka University and is also a FiDiPro Professor at the Academy of Finland. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying lymphocyte trafficking into various tissues and tumor metastasis in vivo. Key areas of his work include the physiological recruitment of lymphocytes and dendritic cells to secondary lymphoid tissues and the functions and regulation of intercellular adhesion molecules and chemokines. Dr. Miyasaka's findings are expected to contribute to the development of novel treatments for immune-related diseases, including cancer.
