Dr. Zand is a Professor of Medicine and Medical Humanities in the Division of Nephrology at the University of Rochester, where he specializes in kidney transplant care, emphasizing a holistic approach that integrates mind and body wellness. He co-directs the Clinical and Translational Science Institute and the Center for Leading Innovation and Collaboration, focusing on advancing translational research and enhancing collaborative efforts in healthcare. In 2014, he established the Rochester Center for Health Informatics, employing health informatics and big data analytics to explore the interconnections between healthcare systems and community health.
