Marta Szymanowska

Dr. Marta Szymanowska serves as an Associate Professor of Finance at the Department of Finance at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands, where she is also affiliated with the Erasmus Initiative 'Dynamics of Inclusive Prosperity', having earned her PhD in Finance from Tilburg University; her research focuses on asset pricing, investigating the nature of macroeconomic risks and the relationship between financial markets and the real economy, particularly in global commodity markets, with her work being presented at major academic conferences like the Western Finance and American Finance Association meetings, published in leading journals including the Journal of Finance and Journal of Financial Economics, and showcased at prestigious international research institutes such as Oxford University and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
