Delft University of TechnologyMark Voskuijl is a Professor of Aviation and Weapon Systems at the Faculty of Military Sciences, Netherlands Defence Academy, a position he has held since September 2018. He specializes in aircraft performance and has co-authored approximately 50 publications, including journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers. Voskuijl earned his Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 2003, followed by a PhD from the University of Liverpool in 2007. His doctoral research focused on helicopter active control technology, emphasizing novel control concepts to enhance handling qualities and structural load alleviation in helicopters, conducted in collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada. Prior to his current role, he served as an Assistant Professor at Delft University of Technology for 11 years, where his research concentrated on flight mechanics of future aircraft configurations. Voskuijl's work continues to influence the fields of unmanned aircraft systems and combat aircraft performance, contributing significantly to advancements in military aviation technology.
