María Julia Fernández-Getino García

María Julia Fernández-Getino García serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where she also serves as Dean of the Bachelor's Degrees in Telecommunication Technologies and Communications Systems Engineering. After completing her PhD from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 2001, she has established herself as a leading researcher in wireless communications, with particular expertise in multicarrier transmission and signal processing. Her research has earned numerous prestigious recognitions, including the Juan de la Cierva National Award, PhD Extraordinary Award, and UC3M Excellence Award. Her work spans multiple areas including OFDM systems, channel estimation, and cognitive radio applications, with over 70 publications in international journals and conferences
