Her professional journey spans India, Nepal, Brazil, El Salvador, Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia, working on projects related to human rights, forced displacement, gender equity, and citizen security. María has served as a university lecturer and consultant for the UNDP, UNICEF, and USAID. As an edX instructor, she teaches in the JaverianaX series, offering insightful courses that explore gender through ecological and digital lenses.
