SDA Bocconi School of ManagementMaria Alice Trindade serves as a Lecturer of Operation and Supply Chain Management at SDA Bocconi School of Management while also working as a Post Doc Researcher under the PNNR – GRINS Project. Her academic credentials include an MSc and PhD in Management from the Faculty of Economics at Oporto University. Her research expertise centers on the retail sector, specifically focusing on inventory management, procurement, and distribution systems. Her current research agenda encompasses three main areas: investigating resilience and sustainable practices in omnichannel retail operations, exploring best practices for AI implementation in omnichannel retail environments, and advancing Operations Management Teaching methodologies. Her scholarly work has gained recognition through publications in respected journals including the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Insights, Flexible Services and Manufacturing Journal, International Journal of Management Science and Engineering Management, and Operations Research and Decisions. Beyond her research and teaching responsibilities, she contributes to academic governance as a member of the Monitoring Committee of the PhD in Management at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto. Her role as one of the founders of Fink further demonstrates her commitment to advancing the field of operations and supply chain management. Through her work, Trindade continues to bridge theoretical research with practical applications in retail operations and supply chain management
