Margit Hofer

Margit Hofer is a senior researcher who has made significant contributions to the NewHoRRIzon project, focusing on integrating Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) into national and international research systems. Her work involves developing methodologies for implementing RRI practices across research institutions and innovation systems. Working alongside colleague Ilse Marschalek, she has helped establish social labs that bring together diverse stakeholders to address complex social challenges in research and innovation. Her expertise in participatory research and social lab methodologies has contributed to bridging gaps between science communities and society at large, promoting more inclusive and responsive research practices.
